Complete our straightforward 8-step application form. You can save your progress and return at any time. We ask about your housing preferences, lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a housemate.

The application is designed with seniors in mind — clear steps, large text, and no time pressure.

Our team carefully reviews every application. This includes identity verification, police check confirmation, and reference checks. We do this to ensure every member is trustworthy and genuine.

Most applications are reviewed within 5-7 business days. You will receive email updates at every stage.

Once approved, pay your 6-month membership fee to unlock full access. That is $A220 for Single Members or $A350 for Couple Members. As a not-for-profit, these fees exist solely to cover staff, platform maintenance, and operational costs. There are no monthly fees, no hidden charges, and no profits distributed.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Admin can waive the fee in cases of financial hardship.

Access full property details including exact addresses. Browse member profiles, set your matching preferences, and get personalised group recommendations based on your lifestyle and budget.

You can join up to 5 active groups at once, message other members directly, and participate in the community forum.

Once your group is complete and everyone is comfortable, coordinate your move-in together. Our platform provides lease templates, tenancy guides, and ongoing support to help make the transition smooth.

Even after moving in, you remain part of the House Sharing Seniors community with access to support and resources.
